Ambient Life client 'Culina' promote their new bespoke 194,510 sq ft distribution facility on Haverhill Business Park they will be employing some 350 people on site – bringing job numbers created so far at the Park to a total in excess of 650. We are pleased to announce that photographer Tim Wallace has agreed to stage a seminar for Jaguar later this year at the main Jaguar Centre at the Jaguar Plant in Castle Bromwich. He will be talking about many different aspects of automotive photography as well as conducting demonstrations and giving a visual presentation of commercial automotive work. The event will be split into two separate dates, the first being in early October where the event is geared solely to degree students where as the second in November will be working with a professional audience. Tim has been working with Jaguar and other supporting companies to try and ensure that the day is as informative and fun as possible. There will be two main studio's where attendees can shoot with the supplied and their own equipment, and at the end of the day Tim will be judging the work on behalf of Jaguar in a informal competition to come up with the over all best shots from the day. ...full story here

In 2008 Tim Wallace was commissioned to shoot a series of photography for the Aston Workshop that would be used in their 2008 Calendar. A few months later the calendar was released and sold out in just over a month, a second print run was done and this too sold out with orders coming from quite literally all over the world. This month we saw a feature on car photography within Europe appear from the guys at Future Publishing. We're happy to say that one of Tim's Lotus images was chosen to elaborate on the styles and high impact of work within this field today and indeed the more contemporary way that such images are created.
