This week saw photographer Tim Wallace fly out to Hamburg as a guest of the World famous Victor magazine.
Tim was in Germany for two days to be interviewed by the magazine as he has been selected to be profiled for his work and creativity in the field of automotive photography. Classics Monthly Triumph GT6 feature.
Tim does a great deal of magazine work for various motoring magazines in the UK and Europe however from time to time we shoot a car that evokes a real passion for what we do. The enclosed GT6 is just such car and we're very happy to see that the magazine editor has made good use of the photography with a bold double page spread and lots of detail.

This week we are really pleased to announce a new client relationship with the US marketing and advertising group, Vertis based in Baltimore. Over the last month we have been working together with Vertis to create some photographic work that will be used by Vertis for their US client Audi. A few months ago we were approached by Mercedes Benz to create a series of photography for their 2010 Commercial Parts calendar, the challenge was that this time rather than working with prestige saloon and sports cars we'd be shooting actual commercial vehicle parts. It was a close thing they said but we just missed out this year after coming 2nd in the Photographer of the Year Competition held recently at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London. We are very pleased to report that a wonderful charity event has been organised by the Aston Martin Owners Club and the Royal Naval Air Station at Yeovilton. The event over two days will feature amongst many activities high speed timed runs on the 8000ft main runway as well as live photography of the Aston's by Ambient Life photographer Tim Wallace with aircraft from the Naval Fleet Air Arm. Funds raised from the event will be going to such worthy causes as “Help for Heroes” and the Service benevolent funds for the Navy, Royal Marines and others. In 2008 Ambient Life photographer Tim Wallace was invited by Jaguar UK and Calumet to host a series of seminars based at the Jaguar main centre in Castle Bromwich. These Seminars proved to be a great success and were described by Calumet as being the most inspirational and with the highest positive feedback of any seminars and shows they had hosted through the year. As a result of this Tim has agreed to return to the main Jaguar centre again and conduct a special one off event with Jaguar this year aimed specifically at degree photographic students from UK colleges. During late 2008 Tim Wallace was commissioned to create some photography for US media and entertainment giant Kenwood. The campaign centred around some shots of a Bentley Continental that Tim used for the shoot with the new Kenwood Navigation System. Earlier this week we started a project with a new client to Ambient Life, Gateshead College. The college approached photographer Tim Wallace as they were looking for some fresh and inspirational photography for a project that is currently underway to display very large prints within the college campus and buildings featuring some of the fantastic achievements that the students had achieved recently. We are pleased to announce that photographer Tim Wallace has agreed to stage a seminar for Jaguar later this year at the main Jaguar Centre at the Jaguar Plant in Castle Bromwich. He will be talking about many different aspects of automotive photography as well as conducting demonstrations and giving a visual presentation of commercial automotive work.
The event will be split into two separate dates, the first being in early October where the event is geared solely to degree students where as the second in November will be working with a professional audience. Tim has been working with Jaguar and other supporting companies to try and ensure that the day is as informative and fun as possible.
