New Work for Client Terberg DTS (Special Vehicles)
This week we welcomed a new division to AmbientLife through existing client Terberg.
Terberg DTS Special Vehicles are based in the UK and transport photographer Tim Wallace of AmbientLife has now started work with DTS to create the photography for their commercial marketing and brochures for their many specialist vehicles. Our first project for Terberg DTS was their new specialist Yard Truck unit, the YT193, Eco Electric and Hydrogen yard vehicle.

Terberg DTS Specialist Vehicle Division
Commercial photographer Tim Wallace of AmbientLife was on location this week for our new divisional client DTS Specialist Vehicles to shoot their new design yard truck, the YT193.
We were unable to shoot this vehicle in studio due to the Covid UK lockdown however the client needed to have the photography completed as the vehicle is currently in launch worldwide. We therefore placed a great deal of planning into organising a shoot on the actual client site in the UK that took place within a factory closed off area to ensure safety. All the work was shot and lit on location at the factory premises and then digitally placed back into a clean studio backplate scene to ensure that the client received the quality of work that they required as well as maintaining a consistent start to what future vehicle work would be like as the projects with DTS move forward through other vehicle designs and types.
YT193 ECO ELECTRIC AND HYDROGEN
The new Terberg YT Series tractors are designed to be more robust and durable, plus easier to maintain and update than the YT182 and YT222. Deliveries of the initial models, the YT193 and YT223, will start the summer of 2020 with diesel and electric options. The company later aim to develop a hydrogen option. These yard tractors also form the new platform for the automated AutoTUGTM. This range enables Terberg to contribute to a cleaner future, help reduce fuel consumption using advanced engine technology, and make transport more sustainable.
Terberg’s YT Series design gives maintenance fitters quick and easy access to mechanical and electronic components. For example, the entire dashboard can be removed or refitted in minutes. Covers, bumpers and windows are easily replaceable if they are damaged. The efficient design reduces the time and cost of maintenance and repairs.
