'Be Inspired' Seminar in Wales for Charity

This weekend Photographer Tim Wallace was in sunny Wales to perform on stage at the Colwyn Bay Theatre
The entire event was organised in the last few weeks and was the brain child of Tim and Sarah Jones from Cambrian Photography
After a chance meeting a few months ago both Sarah and Tim came up with an idea to try and raise some much needed money for some charities that Sarah is deeply involved in, namely The King’s Storehouse Food Bank, that help provide food and support for families that are having financial difficulties and unable to feed themselves properly, and also 'Lightbox the Young People’s Camera Group' that Paul Sampson from Oriel Colwyn runs and is a group set up to help and support found disadvantaged children to enjoy photography. …Read the full article here

UK Seminar to Support Disadvantaged People.

Tim Wallace from Ambient Life is taking time out of his busy schedule, to visit Cambrian Photography's Photo & Optic Show where he will be giving a two hour seminar with all proceeds including his own fees being donated to help people from disadvantaged area's
In the seminar Tim will be talking a little about his own work, photography and how to get the very best from your images as well with hints and tips all delivered in a witty, down to earth manner, followed by a Question and Answer Session.

The Seminar will take place on the 31st May 2014 at the Colwyn Bay Theatre and tickets are limited to 300.

Tim has been described recently by Scott Kelby as one of the Ten most influential photographers in the World today. Aston Workshop - 'The Book' Project enters final stages

Aston Martin over the years have created and crafted some of the Worlds most recognisable and iconic cars and in 2013 the company celebrate 100 years in the industry. As part of this celebration commercial car photographer Tim Wallace was commissioned by our UK client Aston Workshop Ltd to produce a major book looking through the 100 years to celebrate all the models in the Aston range from the very first model that David Brown created to the latest super cars from the Aston stable such as the DBS and new Vanquish. This month saw AmbientLife photographer Tim Wallace working alongside the designers to review and make final amendments to the page layouts as the book nears the final stages before going to be published. Over all the final book will feature over 680 full colour pages of high quality photography that captures and drives forward the spirt of Aston Martin through the last 100 years. …Read the full article here

.get inspired! magazine for iPad feature

Today saw the release of the January edition of '.get inspired!' magazine which is running a major feature on the recent Darwin Project that photographer Tim Wallace completed whilst in Death Valley in the USA. The magazine will be out on iPad of the 5th and is also available for download.
The town was first established by American explorer Dr Darwin French in 1874 after he discovered silver ore deposits in the mountains, just south of Death Valley but the mining area is now closed off and out of limits to people with many signs warning of the dangers of open mines still being there and potential death traps to those that wander into the area. Just a year later, 700 people were found living in the town where around 20 mines were discovered - the population peaked in 1877 at several thousand people. …Read the full article here
