This week commercial car photographer Tim Wallace spent some time getting to grips with Audi's new R8 Coupe V10 Plus.
No model with the four rings is closer to motorsport, none is more striking and more dynamic. This is Audi's second generation of its high-performance R8 sports car, the V10 mid-engine and a newly developed quattro drive give breathtaking driving performance, especially in the top-of-the-range version achieving 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.

This week saw Mercedes Benz launch their new 2016 Parts Calendar. The Calendar is primarily distributed to all Mercedes Benz dealerships and service centres and promotes the values and current service values that Mercedes provide to its clients.
The work that was used to create this calendar was shot in late 2015 by Commercial photographer Tim Wallace of AmbientLife.
AmbientLife have been working with Mercedes Benz in the UK for over 6 years. This week commercial photographer Tim Wallace dedicated a day of his time to travel to Wales and give a very special talk entitled 'My journey into the light'. The talk was totally free of charge for those attending, the only cost was that people were asked to bring a box of food. These boxes were then dispersed among the homeless by the charity that Tim worked with on this project, 'The King’s Storehouse Food Bank', to help them have food for Christmas and 'Raise a Smile' for those in our communities that perhaps are not as fortunate as most during this festive period. We are pleased to announce the launch of a very special one off event that is dedicated to raising funds and support for a UK Homeless Charity, 'The King’s Storehouse Food Bank'
This is a cause that is very close to Tim's heart and it will be the second such event that he has created in recent years. The talk will be held in North Wales and all proceeds will be going to the Charity directly.

Our 'Live Shoot' seminar with Hasselblad took place today at Junction 11 studios in the UK with car photographer Tim Wallace hosting the event and teaching techniques and process for shooting a car within a studio using continous lighting. Tim's live shoot seminars have always been a popular seminar event but he normally conducts these 'on location' deploying professional strobe lighting so this was a new opportunity to demonstrate and teach the use of a different kind of lighting and shooting within a studio setting. The event was supported by Hasselblad who were there to assist those participating and give people a chance to shoot on the new Hasselblad H5 CMOS camera system, a system that Tim adopted a few months ago himself for his own professional commercial work. …Read the full article here

This month saw the launch of the 'Fractal' photography on our client Peugeots global website. AmbientLife car photographer Tim Wallace shot the work for our client Peugeot a few months ago in preparation for their worldwide launch of the car.
The Fractal concept car was launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015 and it represented a major capital investment in showcasing their new concepts and future technologies to a worldwide market so getting the right photography and media was very important. Some months ago photographer Tim Wallace was approached by the organisers of Gulf Photo Plus, a premium photographic event that is held in Dubai each year, and asked to participate in the 2016 event. We are very happy to announce that Tim has agreed to take part in this GPP 2016 event in beautiful Dubai and will be there as one of the main instructors in February 2016 between the 5th and the 12th where he will be running two separate two day intense courses on car photography.
